Dear Tandem Partners and Friends,
As I said ‘Goodbye’ to 2019 and ‘Hello’ to 2020, two verses from Scripture seem to have been forged into my life.
In 2019 countless ministry opportunities on the calendar had to be ‘whited out’ as my son, Brian’s diagnosis, “You have cancer” changed the trajectory of my days for months. I felt like I was immersed in Isaiah 45:3:
“I will give you the treasures of darkness riches stored in secret places that you will know that I am the Lord your God who calls you by name”
As 2020 dawned, Caleb’s words from Joshua 14:11 leaped off the pages of Scripture knowing that ‘new beginnings’ were on the horizon.
“I am still as strong today as I was in the day Moses sent me; as my strength was then so my strength is now . . . for going out and for coming in”
