Photo: Met with the leadership of our church yesterday and then the leadership of this national men’s golf association this morning to introduce them to Camille and Esther Ntoto from Congo. They have given leadership to ‘The Sons of Congo’ (afticanewday.org) and have had 53,000 Congolese men go through their 17 week leadership development transformational program. These men are literally changing the culture of a nation ….no longer perpetrators of women but have become protectors of women!
Hope: A word of encouragement all en français!
As I go to the Congo this coming March, 2023 I am intentionally wanting to speak in French to the leadership of Africa New Day as well as hopefully give a SHOUT OUT word of encouragement in French to The Sons of Congo who are changing the trajectory of how women in Congo are valued. Speaking in French in a speaking engagement is an example of raising the bar for me making a choice that keeps me on the growing edge.
